Task Roulette Privacy Policy
Bu sayfanın Türkçesi burada.
This privacy policy applies to the Task Roulette app for mobile devices, together with any related services operated by İlkay Narlı (collectively, the “Application”). İlkay Narlı is hereby referred to as the “Service Provider”.
What the Application Collects
The Application collects no analytics and no usage statistics. It contains no advertising, analytics or tracking SDKs of any kind, and it uses no advertising identifier. It does not record your IP address, which screens you open, how long you use it, your device model or your operating system version.
Your tasks, difficulty levels, theme and language preferences are stored on your device only. They are not sent to any server and the Service Provider cannot see them.
The only data that ever leaves your device is described in the next section, and only if you turn that feature on yourself.
Note Scanning and AI Difficulty Estimation
The Application can read text from a photo of your handwritten notes. The text recognition happens entirely on your device, and the photo itself never leaves your device under any circumstances.
The Application also offers an optional feature that estimates a difficulty level from 1 to 5 for each recognised task. This feature is turned off by default. It runs only after you explicitly turn it on, either from the card shown after a scan or from Settings → AI. When it is on, only the recognised task text is sent over an encrypted connection to an endpoint operated by the Service Provider and hosted by Cloudflare, Inc., where it is processed by a language model provided by Anthropic PBC. No identifying information of any kind accompanies it — no name, e-mail address, device identifier or location.
The Service Provider does not store or log this text. The model provider may retain inputs for a limited period for abuse monitoring under its own terms of service.
You may turn the feature off at any time in Settings → AI → “Estimate Difficulty Automatically”. While it is off, no task text leaves your device and the rest of the Application continues to work normally.
Cookies and tracking technologies
The Application uses no cookies, no pixels, no advertising identifiers and no third-party SDKs. There is nothing to opt out of, because no tracking takes place.
Your Rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data held by the Service Provider. To exercise these rights, or to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, contact the Service Provider at support@inarli.com.
Your California privacy rights (CCPA/CPRA)
If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information is collected, the right to delete personal information, the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, and the right to non-discrimination for exercising these rights. The Service Provider does not sell or share personal information. To exercise your CCPA/CPRA rights, contact the Service Provider at support@inarli.com.
The Application has no accounts and asks for no name, e-mail address or other identifying information in order to work.
Third Party Access
The Service Provider does not share your data with third parties for advertising, analytics or any commercial purpose, and does not sell it.
Two service providers are involved in the optional difficulty estimation feature, and only while it is switched on: Cloudflare, Inc., which hosts the endpoint the request is sent to, and Anthropic PBC, which provides the language model that processes the text. They receive the recognised task text and nothing else.
The Service Provider may disclose information where required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena or similar legal process, or where disclosure is necessary in good faith to protect its rights or someone’s safety.
International Data Transfers
The Service Provider or its third-party service providers may transfer personal data to countries outside your country of residence, including outside the European Economic Area (EEA). Where applicable law requires safeguards for international transfers, the Service Provider will use appropriate mechanisms.
- Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission
- Adequacy decisions or other legally recognized transfer mechanisms
- Your consent, where required and legally permitted
Data protection laws in other countries may differ from those in your jurisdiction. Where required by law, the Service Provider will apply appropriate safeguards and obtain any consent required for the transfer.
Opt-Out Rights
You can turn off the difficulty estimation feature at any time in Settings → AI, which stops anything leaving your device. Deleting the Application removes the tasks and settings held on your device.
To exercise any of your rights, contact the Service Provider at support@inarli.com.
Data Retention Policy
The Service Provider holds no personal data on its own servers, so there is nothing for it to retain.
- Tasks and settings: kept on your device until you delete them or uninstall the Application
- Task text sent for difficulty estimation: not recorded or stored by the Service Provider. The model provider may retain inputs for a limited period for abuse monitoring under its own terms of service
- Correspondence you send by e-mail: kept for as long as needed to deal with your request
Children
The Application is not intended for children under 16 years of age, or such higher age as required by applicable law. The Service Provider does not knowingly solicit data from children or market the Application to them.
The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children. The Service Provider encourages all children to never submit any personally identifiable information through the Application and/or Services. The Service Provider encourages parents and legal guardians to monitor their children’s Internet usage and to help enforce this Policy by instructing their children never to provide personally identifiable information through the Application and/or Services without their permission. If you have reason to believe that a child has provided personally identifiable information to the Service Provider through the Application and/or Services, please contact the Service Provider (support@inarli.com) so that they will be able to take the necessary actions. If you are under 16 years of age, your parent or guardian must provide consent on your behalf where permitted by law.
Security
The Service Provider is concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your information. The Service Provider provides physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect information the Service Provider processes and maintains.
Data Breach Notification
If a data breach occurs that affects your personal data, the Service Provider will notify you in accordance with applicable legal requirements, including, where required, providing information about the nature of the breach and the steps being taken to address it.
Changes
The Service Provider may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The Service Provider will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Privacy Policy with an effective date. Where required by law, the Service Provider will seek your consent to material changes before they take effect.
Previous versions of this Privacy Policy will be maintained and made available upon request by contacting the Service Provider at support@inarli.com.
This privacy policy is effective as of 2026-09-24
Your Consent
Where processing is based on consent, you provide that consent by affirmatively opting in to the relevant feature or action. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting processing carried out before withdrawal. Processing based on other lawful bases is carried out as described above.
Contact Us
If you have any questions regarding privacy while using the Application, or have questions about the practices, please contact the Service Provider via email at support@inarli.com.
